Welcome to our platform.

This platform collects data on how individuals interact with AI tools and their societal usefulness. We believe understanding human perceptions of AI helps improve its design to better serve society.

We offer four unique scenarios. Their availability may change, so feel free to revisit the platform to explore others.

Available Scenarios:

  • Perception: Guess who is the machine and the gender of the human based on conversations.
  • Preferences: Share your opinions on AI and rank its usefulness in your life.
  • Task Resolution: Solve a problem with AI support and reflect on your process and time.
  • Intervention: Complete a task, watch a tutorial, then attempt a second task to measure improvement.

We will request basic demographic details such as age, gender, education level, and country of birth. You may skip any questions you're uncomfortable with. No personal information (name, email, social media) will be collected.

Your identity remains anonymous. We use cookies to distinguish users. Once submitted, data cannot be deleted. After cleaning, the dataset will be publicly available for research. This project embraces open science principles.

You can participate multiple times, but cannot edit previous submissions. By continuing, you confirm you're at least 18 years old and consent to your data being stored and used for research, including its public release.

Once we receive 50+ participants, a real-time results page will be available.

This study has been approved by the Northeastern University London Review Board for Ethical Standards in Research.
